Failure into Success
Greetings!
Hello there awesome less than 10 followers (before you were more than 10 but I had to block others to make this blog a bit more personal).
I know that this blog is a bit (it’s an understatement) outdated, and it’s a memory of a project failure (originally this blog should have contained 365 photos of 2010), but I want to revive this blog as a personal sharing space of my life.
Maybe it’s the oozing amount of free time I have on work right now because of all the inefficiencies surrounding me. Maybe it’s my desire to let these fingers work as virtual pens again. Honest to goodness, I missed writing. I miss the feeling of letting these keys create stories that only I could tell.
I want this to be as personal as like a journal of my days in this year. Sure tumblr is less of a personal arena compared to blogger or wordpress or what. But I want to retain all the memories in this project so I decided to revive it as MY blog.
I will recreate this Project Failure into a Success blog. If failure avoids me that is.
So here it goes. This is MY blog.
DAY164 Not KFC The Velascos (for the nth time this year) went again to SM Lipa to buy my goddaughter her school supplies. The family decided to eat at KFC. But since KFC is a MAINSTAY (and I do mean mainstay) in Elbi, I decided to dine in Red Ribbon instead. Palabok, Cake and Empanada FTW!
DAY163
Twitdependence Day!
Social networking nowadays is really really influential. How influential? Well it’s the Philippine Independence Day today and what I did majority of the day was tweet.
But I got instant updates from the day’s activity through twitter though.
DAY162
DIPLOMA T.T
So my brother went home after his first week in his review classes (Board examination). Upon his arrival, he showed me this humungous diploma of his of UST Faculty Engineering.
I mean, when will I get to smell this sweet success like my brother and sister did? T.T
DAY161
First Fish-Eye Shot!
I like saying that title LOL.
So it was time for our first Webteam meeting for this semester and Mr. Aldorithm himself was back from his own vacation. So this means he bought something from faraway right? YES!
He showed to us this new Black Holga that he “practiced shot” on us (Monica and Fil). He also brought his fish eye camera and this was the photo after Sir Aldo digitized the image. The Holga image was a bit blurred so I chose this.
PS: thanks sir for sending this picture for my project! LOL
DAY160
INFOTRU getting ready
This room probably is my second home here in the college, (the next one is our ADS tambayan) because most of my office and SA work are spent here.
It will surely be another busy semester for us Webteam members as we brace ourselves for yet another burst of new website users and complaints of users who forgot their passwords and all those SHIZ.
DAY159
Last (?) Class cards
So I’m officially registered for this semester. Here’s the last pieces for my official registration of my last (?) semester: 4 class cards.
DAY158
Last (?) registration paraphernalia secured
Will these be my last papers during a registration period in UPLB?
Will this be my last Form26 to be filled-out for me to enter one of my last subjects?
Only Fil has the answers to these questions. But it’s really exciting to know that possibly, these will be my last reg. papers :)
DAY157
(Advanced) Happy Birthday Dad!
It’s a Sunday but we still decided to go on a late Manila trip to have an early celebration because Dad will be on trip on his birthday and most of us will be away for either school or work.
So we ate at Mesa, a very very very wonderful restaurant at Greenbelt 5. My sister treated the whole family to very delicious meals. But I guess my favorites are the Crispchon wrapped in pandan crepe and of course, the appetizer: Hito Flakes.
YUM.
